Welcome to the Monthly Release Note!
This post will explain all the changes that are due to go live overnight on Wednesday the 14th of January.
Some changes will only apply to specific departments or business units across the group, so don't worry if any of these appear unfamiliar. Please contact your business analyst if you'd like to find out more about any of the changes in this post, or indeed if you have some ideas for change yourself.
Evox App
The Evox app is now live within the Apple and Google Play Store. The first phase of the application rollout covers timesheet functionality, allowing timesheets to be keyed and submitted directly in the mobile app.
We are currently looking for users to help gather feedback on the application by offering a free trial period. If this is something your business would be interested in, please contact the Evox Solutions Team.
A new area within the Support Centre has been created for the App: Evox Mobile App - Evox Solutions
Project Control
19736: Project Terms and Conditions Changes
One of the new features of this release is the addition of the Project Terms and Conditions within the Maintenance Section of EVOX.
This allows for different Terms and Conditions to be selectable to a user - and for a different user (usually someone more senior or director-level) to be informed if a particular option is selected.
For example, one of our business units wants this set up in such a way, that if anything other than the non-standard T&Cs are selected, then members of their team are emailed to warn them of a particular selection.
Please speak to your BA should you want this switched on in your EVOX.
19745: Closed Cost Functionality on IS Projects
Functionality for setting the cut-off date on activities has been developed for IS Projects. This will mean that after this date, no costs can be associated with this activity. Clients
19440: Client Request Process
A new process where a client request must be created and approved before a client record can be created. This process requires basic client details, a documentation review, and two approval stages, with each stage controlled by security permissions. Contact your business analyst or click here to learn more.
19657: Ability to merge suppliers or clients
Functionality has been developed to allow users to merge supplier or client records within evox by defining the primary record, allowing for cleaner data in your environment. Please note this will be controlled by security permissions, contact your business analyst to learn more.
Reports
19680: Prepayroll Timesheet Check
Some changes have been made to the Prepayroll Timesheet Check report. The job number will now show in the report, the candidate name will be shown on every line, and the existing date filter will now filter on the ‘confirmed, paid date’ on timesheets.
19735: PO Lines Report - Accural Column
A new column for Accrual Date has been added to the PO Lines report.
Continuous Improvement
The change requests listed above have been specifically planned and designed for implementation this month. However, there are some additional improvements that have taken place throughout the month too. Should you be interested in finding out more about these, you'll find them outlined below.
