Standard Projects

Within Standard Project records, there is a tab for Variations that shows activities against the project and their status

The user can filter variations by Status and Charge Type. Status will default to Open but can be changed if needed

Users can click on the status ‘Open’ which will bring up the below pop-up:

The user can toggle the status to ‘Close On’ which will allow the user to enter a cut off date:

Once the cut off date is in the past, the status will change to Closed:

This activity will no longer appear in the Activity dropdown when adding lines to Purchase Orders. Users will also receive an error message on timesheets to ensure costs will no longer go to closed activities:

Closed activities can be reopened by clicking on the ‘Closed’ status, which will bring up the below pop-up:

Users will toggle this to ‘Open’ to allow costs against this activity

IS Projects

Within IS Project records, there is a tab for WBS that shows activities against the project

If users click on a Code, this will bring up the below pop-up:

A new field for ‘Cut Off Date’ has been added. The user will enter the costs cut off date for the activity and click save:

This activity will no longer appear in the Activity dropdown when adding lines to Purchase Orders. Users will also receive an error message on timesheets to ensure costs will no longer go to activities featuring a cut off date:

Users can revert the cost cut off date by clicking on the Code and clearing the cut off date before saving changes
