Welcome to the monthly Release Note!
This post will explain all the changes that are due to go live overnight on Wednesday the 9th of April.
Some changes will only apply to specific departments or business units across the group, so don't worry if any of these appear unfamiliar. Please contact your business analyst if you'd like to find out more about any of the changes in this post, or indeed if you have some ideas for change yourself.
Upgrades to Core
18427: Upgrade to Core: Client Rates page
The Client Rates page has been updated to the new user interface. The functionality will remain the same as before.
18647: Upgrade to Core: PO Receipts
The PO Receipts page has been updated to the new user interface. The functionality will remain the same as before.
18648: Upgrade to Core: Plant
The Plant tab has been updated to the new user interface. The functionality will remain the same as before.
18822: Upgrade to Core: Enquiry Details
The Enquiry Details page has been updated to the new user interface. The functionality will remain the same as before.
Search Bar
18892: Search Bar
The search bar will now allow users to search for POs, PIs and Sales Invoices.
Personnel
18772: Placement Rates
A new security right has been developed to allow users to edit charge rates set on placements that have been created by Voyager. All other fields within the rate will be locked down as normal.
18887: New fields for Worker Contracts
Three new fields will be visible on Worker Contracts and within the Bulk Edit Worker Contracts page. These fields include Bought, Sold, and Additional Brought Forward. Please contact your business analyst if you would like to learn more about this.
Accounts
18827: Payroll - export files as download rather than file system
When processing payroll exports, once exported this will now download a ZIP file containing the files to the user's personal downloads (dependent on download settings).
18851: Maintain Accounting Periods
The Maintain Accounting Periods page within the Maintenance tab will now default to the current financial year. If this year is removed from the filter, the user will be able to see a three-year period (past financial year, current financial year, and future financial year). If making any edits to the lines, this will automatically select that line to update.
Reports
18818: Edits to Labour Time Flat File Report
New columns have been added to the Labour Time Flat File report. The new columns will feature the description of the timesheet, any notes against the timesheet, if the timesheet is approved, the cost rate of the personnel, and the charge rate of the personnel.
Continuous Improvement
The change requests listed above have been specifically planned and designed for implementation this month.
