Common FAQs
When should I raise a ticket with support?
A: You should raise a ticket with our support team if you come across the following:
- Error messages are appearing – often these will indicate to get in touch with support or not
- A change to functions – this could happen due to a number of reasons, such as an update to functions, after a monthly release, etc.
If you do have to raise a ticket, we always suggest that you include screenshots, links, and a description of the issue. This will help our support team to quickly diagnose the problem.

What's the difference between a ticket and a change request?
A: A ticket is treated as a ‘fix’ to an existing page, function, field, etc. A request change refers to an improvement/ change to an existing page that doesn't exist.
The shortest way to explain it is tickets are a quick fix, whereas a change request is development/re-development to pages and functions. However, both are essential to the continuous improvement of the system.
Dashboard
How do I add widgets to my dashboard?
A: You can add various widgets to your dashboard, such as ‘alerts’, ‘tasks outstanding’, ‘absence approvals’, and more. You can do this using the following steps:
preferences tab (located at on the top right of your dashboard)>dashboard settings>*select widget(s)*>*click*save changes

Timesheets
Why can't I submit my timesheets for approval?
A: This could be caused by various factors; however, here are a few actions to help resolve this issue:
- Ensure all fields have been filled out correctly
- Check the pop-up message. This will often point you in the right direction. Eg. Often this will tell you what line is incorrect
- Double-check the job and activity/variation you’ve selected are correct

Accounts
Why can’t I find my purchase invoice in the ‘purchase invoice search’ tab?
A: This issue could be caused by a number of factors; however, here are a few actions to help resolve this issue:
- Try clicking ‘reset’ in the filter field and re-populating the filter fields
- Double check the ‘logged from’ and ‘logged date to’ filters

Costings
How do I view costings for a particular project?
A: Within a project record, a button for ‘Costings’ will be visible at the top-right of the record. If clicked, this will direct you straight to costings for that project
Alternatively, users can navigate to the ‘Costings’ tab and enter the job number within the search for ‘view costs for job:’.
Purchasing
Why can't I sign off/approve a PO I created?
A: Well, this answer is permissions dependent; some users can create and sign off/ approve things such as QA, project, and manager approvals.
However, the system has been set up to limit this from happening. More than one person should be notified to approve parts of the PO to ensure the PO process is being followed correctly.

Maintenance
How do I edit lists within the maintenance tab?
A: The maintenance tab enables permitted users to edit lists such as client, division, facility, sites, and more. If you're looking to make edits to lists but can’t find these, this could be due to your permissions. We suggest that you ask your manager for approval to get this access.

Project Control
How can I find a project?
A: You can find a project by clicking the ‘project control’ tab located on the navigation bar. After clicking this, you can use filters to access the desired project.
If you already know the project number, you can get access to project information by typing the project number into the main search bar.
If you are having issues finding a project, you should double-check the filter fields or ask a manager. If this is still an issue, you can contact our support team at support@evoxsolutions.tech
Training
How can I access my training record?
A: As long as you have permissions to view your own training record, you can view this via the ‘Training’ Tab. After clicking this, navigate to ‘Training Records’ and this will populate with your own training record.
If you have permissions to view training records other than your own, you can use the search bar in the top-right of the page to search by personnel name.
Checkpoints
How can I view my previous Checkpoints?
A: You can view your previous checkpoints by navigating to the Checkpoints tab and to ‘My Checkpoints’. Once clicked you can filter for results using the various filters available.
To view previous comments during checkpoints, click on the document icon under the actions column.
