Support Tickets vs Change Requests
The two main services that the Team provide to support your needs. There are Support Tickets, which comprise of system bugs and situations where Evox is not working as expected, and Change Requests, where you need to make a material change to the way the system or process has been designed. Each of these services are accessed in different ways outlined below.
Support Tickets
Support tickets should be logged by way of an email to support@gegroup.com and should include information such as which Evox or business system you are having an issue with, a description of the issue, and any links and screenshots relating to the problem. The type of requests which are covered by a support ticket are:
- A request for updated permissions
- An issue where Evox is not functioning as expected
- Any queries on how functionality works
Support tickets do not typically require budget approval.
Change Requests
Change requests are any requests which require a change to the way in which the current system or process is currently designed. This type of request can be raised with one of the Business Analysts on the Team, or via an email to chris.smith@gegroup.com. The type of requests which would fall under the change request service are:
- Change to Evox functionality
- Creation of something
- Project Management
- Process Improvement
Change requests are managed by a Business Analyst and do have an additional cost to the business. As such, budget approval is sought from the budget holder for your business or department before a change request can be progressed.
